An auction is an efficient and cost effective way of selling property and, if prepared properly with intensive marketing, advertising and mailing, will result in the greatest possible exposure of the lots offered. To maximize the effectiveness of the marketing, considerable thought must be given to the guide price, which needs to be tailored to generate competitive bidding in the auction room, thus ensuring that the best price is being achieved.
Conditions of Sale sale is 1.5% of sale price + vat.
For your Information
When your property is sold the purchaser will have to leave a 10% deposit and complete the contract in twenty eight days thereafter. You the seller are responsible for all your legal expenses.
General
Auction date: To be advised Auction fee: £350.00 + vat. (free entry for one month only) Anchor auctions charges a fee to enter a property into an auction. This fee is payable whether the property is sold or not. The fee is a contribution towards the cost of marketing and catalogue production. If the property is sold by private treaty while under our contract then our standard charges still apply.
Administration fee is only payable when the property is sold £450.00+vat. Should your property/land be withdrawn prior to the auction date there is a withdrawal fee of £250.00 + vat.
Marketing Board
The erection of a For Sale by Auction board on the front of the building will be placed to generate interest.
